When You...

What Now?

April 10, 2022 • John Challinor • Romans 1:10, 2 Corinthians 12:7–12, Mark 14:35–36, John 11:1–4, John 11:40

If you’re like us, there have been many moments when it seems like God is silent, leaving our prayers unheard and unanswered. For the last week of our series “When you…”, Pastor John talks about these very moments. What now? God didn’t do what I wanted… The outcome of our prayers don’t determine our view of God. The true miracle isn’t in the healing, it’s in the moments when we trust in God, even though things don’t go the way you want. This week we are building our trust in Christ and clinging to the truth that is found in him.

What Really Matters

We're entering into the second week of our 21 days of Prayer & Fasting. This week we have a special emphasis on prayers of intercession. Through the person of Jesus we are able to have unlimited access to our creator and we believe that being in communion with God is something we can celebrate and share. It is through prayers of intercession that we are able to bring the people we know to the God we love, surrendering them to the loving care of our Lord and Savior.

How to Handle Life

March 20, 2022 • John Challinor

If you're like the rest of us, oftentimes it can be difficult to rejoice always and to give thanks. It might feel like there isn't much of anything to be thankful for. When you approach God with a posture of thanksgiving, you surrender your own needs and see the character of God; a loving, caring and gracious Savior. By creating a foundation of thanksgiving, you open the door of opportunity to see God with an entirely new perspective. You will see that even here, amidst your circumstance, you can rejoice. Even here, the Lord is good.
