This week we launch our new series, "A Reason For Hope". In this series, we focus on the season of advent; looking both behind us and in front of us with anticipation of the arrival of Jesus. In this season, we have a reason for the hope that we have.

Hope of Peace

Week four of A Reason For Hope focuses on the topic of Peace. As a peacemaker, you have been given the raw materials to make something new. Because of our hope in Jesus, you can go and make peace by sowing and cultivating peace in your life. What about the moments where peace feels miles away and everything in your life feels like it's in turmoil and chaos? Today we see that, while you're longing for change and peace in your circumstances, "peace isn't the absence of something. It's the presence of someone". Hope of Joy

For our 3rd week of our Advent series, A Reason For Hope, we discuss the Hope of Joy that is given through Jesus. The things that happen around you shouldn't dictate the joy that you have. Because of the birth and resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus, we can have great joy no matter the circumstances that we face. Joy starts internally and translates externally. When you walk with the spirit of God, joy can't help but to abound in all that you do. Hope of Love

In week two of our Advent series, A Reason For Hope, we lean into the period of waiting that took place while anticipating the arrival of Jesus. Waiting is never void of tension and we live in a culture that tells us that the act of hurrying and receiving instant results are far better than waiting.
