Restored Insight

February 14, 2021 • Pastor Janice Johnson

What happens when you are in the same place but a different position?

Pastor Janice walks us through the difference.

The 5 wise were prepared. The foolish were just there.

The key is to get prepared and stay prepared.

This is the time to
1. Study God’s Word like never before
2. To pray
3. To love

In all that we say and do we should keep in our minds that Christ is coming back. Our goal is to be ready.

The Parable of the Ten Virgins
Matthew 25

“At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. 2 Five of them were foolish and five were wise. 3 The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them. 4 The wise ones, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps. 5 The bridegroom was a long time in coming, and they all became drowsy and fell asleep. 6 “At midnight the cry rang out: ‘Here’s the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!’ 7 “Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps. 8 The foolish ones said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.’ 9 “‘No,’ they replied, ‘there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.’ 10 “But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut.
11 “Later the others also came. ‘Lord, Lord,’ they said, ‘open the door for us!’ 12 “But he replied, ‘Truly I tell you, I don’t know you.’ 13 “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.

Restored Foresight

February 21, 2021 • Pastor Michael Johnson

When your sight is infected your ability to sense what is coming is drastically impacted. Let that sink in. So we as believers must not be limited by what we see. Pastor Michael Johnson challenges us while inviting us to restored foresight. Here are a few key points 🔑Restored foresight hinges on you embracing the news about your next while living in the now. 🔑Restored foresight can not be determined by your timeline. It should hinge on your persevering faith and God's unquestionable ability to do the impossible. 🔑Restored foresight comes at the expense of you affirming the name of your next which comes from the call given in your now. Key scripture Luke 1:57-67 ________________________ We are Heavenly Vision Church and our vision is to reach, save, strengthen and mature. Restored Eyesight

February 7, 2021 • Pastor DeMarcus Johnson

Pastor DeMarcus leads us in week one of the series Restored Vision. Key Scripture: Mark 10:46-52 The major points to keep in mind after you hear this message is 1. Don't let your detractors destroy your faith! 2. Keep crying out until you get the CALL! 3. Come when called and be intentional with your requests! 4.Choose wisely which way you go! Dive deeper into the word and really take time to read the key scripture. May God restore your sight in any and every place where it is not where is should be. Mark 10:46-52 46 And they came to Jericho. And as he was leaving Jericho with his disciples and a great crowd, Bartimaeus, a blind beggar, the son of Timaeus, was sitting by the roadside. 47 And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” 48 And many rebuked him, telling him to be silent. But he cried out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” 49 And Jesus stopped and said, “Call him.” And they called the blind man, saying to him, “Take heart. Get up; he is calling you.” 50 And throwing off his cloak, he sprang up and came to Jesus. 51 And Jesus said to him, “What do you want me to do for you?” And the blind man said to him, “Rabbi, let me recover my sight.” 52 And Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he recovered his sight and followed him on the way.
