From a biblical perspective, we are not called to solve everything and do everything, but we are called to do something. Too many people grind through their days without lifting their eyes to look around them. They live and die and never having never seen much more than themselves. Our lives are purposed, placed, and provided for so we can make the difference God intended for us to make.
