Immediately following His baptism, Jesus was led by the Holy Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. Jesus was tempted in every way, felt its full force, but was without sin. The significance of this account provides insight on the strategy the devil uses to tempt us. It also reveals the primary weapon Jesus used to defeat the devil: Scripture.
