While atheists criticise religious people for indoctrinating their children, the opposite is actually reality. People will naturally believe in God (of some kind) on their own. They have to be taught atheism. While God did not give us direct knowledge of his existence, he constructed, in the physical neurology of our brains, a desire to seek him out. Humans created many religions over the millennia, attempting to understand and experience the divine, and eventually, we found him. The God who “so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
