We live in a world with many religions apart from Christianity. Some are polytheistic, some are monotheistic, some pantheism and some have no god at all, such as atheism and communism. We are called to witness to people of all of these religions.

The Bible teaches that it is important for all those who are truly saved to be added to a New Testament local church and have a home church in which they can grow spiritually, be cared for properly and use their gifts to help others. This instantly raise questions such as: ‘What exactly is a New Testament Church?’ and ‘How were those early converts added to the church?’ The Bible provides us with the answers, some of which are addressed in this study.

As believers we are living in the last days. The period between Christs resurrection and His return. Return from where? The Kingdom of Heaven. The Kingdom is the place where God resides in all His glorious power. Every kingdom has a culture, a belief system, laws, government and typically members of that society. As ambassadors of Christ (2 Corinthians 5:20), we are representatives of Christ for His Kingdom on earth.
