March 11, 2023 • Chip Kawalsingh

Gifts cannot be bought or earned. It is the Holy Spirit who decides who gets what gifts and it is through the local church that these gifts are developed and used. These gifts are supernatural in character and not just a refinement of physical powers or intuitions.

Family and Church

February 5, 2022 • Paul Goffin • Genesis 2:22–24, Genesis 1:26–27

Families are important to God. They were God's plan from the very beginning of time.

Volunteering in Church

April 7, 2022 • Tate Kandi • Acts 2:42–47, Ephesians 4:11–16, Acts 6:1–7

We really believe that church is God’s plan and for believers to really prosper in the things of God they have to be planted and rooted in a local church. And being planted in church means being an active participant in building the church.

Giving in Church

April 7, 2022 • Tanya Goffin • John 3:16–17, Matthew 6:19–21

Talking about Christianity and finances can be very confusing and even feel offensive because it is so personal and there are so many ‘opinions’ about it in Christian media and literature. However like everything else in our Christian journey the best source of advice and information is the Bible itself. The Bible has a huge amount to say about our approach to money and material possessions and especially how obeying God’s laws in this area can actually transform our lives .

Worship in Church

April 7, 2022 • Sarah Kawalsingh • Psalm 86:12, Psalm 111:1, Deuteronomy 10:12–13

We were created for a purpose, and one of the amazing purposes for which God created us is to be worshippers. Throughout the Bible, God gives us the blueprint of how He desires to be worshipped in music and in song. For many years, God has been pouring out His Spirit in the area of praise and worship. Songs of adoration, love for Jesus, thankfulness, and many more give us the opportunity to express to God how we feel.
