Knowing the Bible and being able to parrot it out is not knowledge. Knowledge in the Bible denotes an understanding, a recognition or an acknowledgment. Knowledge is the deeper appreciation of something or a relationship with someone. We know from Scripture that knowledge is a gift from God.

Giving is a challenge of spiritual magnitude. It ties to the fabric of our physical being whilst determining the destination of our spiritual outcome. This is often because giving is contrary to human nature. It is the hurdle over which many believers fail to clear and in in doing so fail to experience the full extent of what God has for us. God gave us His most precious thing through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, that we may receive His best and in turn return to God our best.

Love is more than an emotion, it’s a command. If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. (1 Corinthians 13:1-2)
