We Press On, Laying Hold Of The Prize

Pressure is an inevitable part of our journey on earth. At some points in our life we will have experienced
a pressure. For students it may be a deadline you’ve faced. It could be financial, when you get those
lovely brown envelopes from the taxman or a company requesting you settle your bill. Your health could
be the battle that you have faced and the pressure is intense. How about relational? How are you feeling
about the relationships you have and amongst those in your bubble.

We need a personal relationship with God because being religious and following a set of rules will not be enough to get us into eternity. God showed us how much He loves us and wants a relationship with us by dying for us (Romans 5:8). A relationship with God is the basis of our faith. It is the basis of everything we do, we experience, and we believe.

God desires for our whole families to be saved. He doesn’t want us to be divided and walking in different directions. It’s really the work of the enemy that divides us because unity means strength and power. Families divided in their beliefs and faiths is something that we see all too often.
