JESUS IS LIFE.

John 1:4 In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men.

John 17:3 This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.

John 10:10 I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.

HOW DO WE PARTAKE OF HIM AND HIS LIFE?

THROUGH HIS WORD... (THE WORD OF LIFE) – Rom 5:17

2 Peter 1:2 Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord; 3 seeing that His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence. 4 For by these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, so that by them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world by lust.

2 THINGS THAT CAUSE ENLARGEMENT - EXPANSION.

THE WORD AND THE SPIRIT.

2 Cor 3:18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.

ENLARGEMENT IS GOD’S WILL.

GOD’S GLORY AFFECTS YOUR OUTWARD CONDITIONS.

AS YOU ENLARGE SO DOES EVERYTHING AROUND YOU.

Psalm 119:32 I shall run the way of Your commandments, For You will enlarge my heart.

Prov 4:20 My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings. 21 Do not let them depart from your sight; Keep them in the midst of your heart. 22 For they are life to those who find them And health to all their body. 23 Watch over your heart with all diligence, For from it flow the springs of life.

ACCELERATE

THE MOMENT YOU BEGIN TO ALIGN YOUR LIFE WITH GOD’S PURPOSE FOR YOUR LIFE YOU WILL BEGIN THE ACCELERATION PROCESS.

Rom 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.

KNOWING AND APPLYING GOD’S PRINCIPLES IS THE KEY TO ADVANCEMENT.

KNOWLEDGE OF GOD

Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge.

WITHOUT KNOWLEDGE YOU REALLY CAN’T HAVE FAITH.

WITHOUT WISDOM FAITH CAN’T PRODUCE LIKE IT SHOULD.

1 Cor 1:30 But by His doing you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption,

WISDOM IS SOMETHING WE SHOULD BE OPERATING IN.

FAITH IS THE BRIDGE BETWEEN TWO REALMS OF TRUTH.

TEMPORAL REALM (PHYSICAL), (subject to change)

THE SPIRITUAL REALM - (UNCHANGING), (eternal)

FAITH TAKES THE PROMISES OF GOD AND APPLIES THEM SO THOSE PROMISES BECOME NOW.

THE PURPOSE FOR FAITH IS TO BRING INTO THIS NATURAL REALM WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE HAVE IN OUR REDEMPTION.

WISDOM IS THE ABILITY TO TAKE KNOWLEDGE AND PRODUCE THE DESIRED RESULT.

UNDERSTANDING – LIGHT IS THE KEY... THEN FAITH CAN APPLY THROUGH THE AVENUE OF WISDOM.

James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

Col 2:3 in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

FAITH IS THE POWER TO CHANGE NATURAL CIRCUMSTANCE.

WISDOM IS WHAT ENABLES YOU TO UTILIZE THE FRUIT OF YOUR FAITH TO ATTAIN THE BEST ENDS BY THE BEST MEANS.

DAKE – WISDOM; THAT WHICH ENABLES MEN TO JUDGE WHAT ARE THE BEST ENDS, AND THE BEST MEANS OF ATTAINING THOSE ENDS.

WISDOM IS WHAT HELPS YOU TAKE KNOWLEDGE AND PUT IT TO WORK TO PRODUCE THE DESIRED RESULT.

FAITH EQUIPS WISDOM WITH THE BEST MEANS OF ATTAINING THE DESIRED END.

WISDOM MEANS; HOW YOU ARE TO DO IT ?... (SPECIFICS ARE DIFFERENT) - WE HAVE DIFFERENT CALLS...

IF WHAT YOU BELIEVE DOES NOT ALTAR YOUR BEHAVIOR – CORRESPONDING ACTION... THEN WISDOM IS NOT WORKING.

What To Do When Bitterness Takes Over

"All bitterness starts out as hurt, and your emotional pain may well relate to viewing whoever or whatever provoked this hurt as having malicious intent. When a person becomes bitter, there’s often a sense of betrayal about how life has treated them. A victim mindset can take hold. The problem snowballs when the hurt, bitter person gives in and gives up. Instead, taking action can make the difference between an isolated life and a connected one. Anger and resentment is what we are likely to experience whenever we conclude that another has seriously abused us. Left to fester, that righteous anger eventually becomes the corrosive ulcer that is bitterness. HEBREWS 12:14-15 NIV 14 Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord. 15 See to it that no one falls short of the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many. QUALITIES OF BITTERNESS 1. BITTERNESS IS A HIDDEN DESTROYER BITTERNESS IS LIKE DRINKING POISON HOPING IT KILLS YOUR ENEMY AN INVISIBLE ROOT ALWAYS YIELDS VISIBLE FRUIT 2. BITTERNESS ALWAYS POISONS OTHERS HEBREWS 12:15 NIV 15 See to it that no one falls short of the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many. DEFILE MANY – GREEK WORD – MIAINO – STAIN, POLLUTE, OR CONTAMINATE HATRED AND HOLINESS CAN’T COEXIST IN THE SAME HEART. HOW DO YOU KILL A ROOT OF BITTERNESS? 1. EXPOSE THE OBJECTS OF YOUR BITTERNESS EPHESIANS 5:11 NIV 11 Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. YOU CANNOT HEAL FROM WHAT YOU ARE UNWILLING TO ADMIT.
