ONE OF HIS REDEMPTIVE NAMES “JEHOVAH RAPHA” (HEALER)

Exodus 15:26 And He said, “If you will give earnest heed to the voice of the LORD your God, and do what is right in His sight, and give ear to His commandments, and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have put on the Egyptians; for I, the LORD, am your healer.”

AMPC I am the Lord Who heals you.

YLT for I, Jehovah, am healing thee.

THERE IS A PRESENT TENSE REALITY IN THESE DECLARATIONS “I AM”

Psalm 107:20 He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them from their destructions.

Isaiah 53:5 But He was pierced through for our transgressions,

He was crushed for our iniquities; The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, And by His scourging we are healed.

1 Pet 2:24 and He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds you were healed.

APPLYING THIS SPIRITUAL REALITY REQUIRES USING THE TOOL OF FAITH TO RECEIVE WHAT’S ALREADY BEEN PROVIDED.

Prov 4:20 My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings. 21 Do not let them depart from your sight; Keep them in the midst of your heart. 22 For they are life to those who find them And health to all their body.

THE HEBREW WORD (HEALTH) IN THIS VERSE IS (MARPE) MEANING; MEDICINE, REMEDY AND A CURE.

WE FAIL TO SUBSITUTE OUR BELIEF IN HEALING FOR THE ACTUAL TAKING OF GOD’S MEDICINE – HIS WORD.

HEALING MEANS; RECOVERY FROM A WEAK OR DISEASED STATE.

A MIRACLE REQUIRES FAITH AS WELL AS RECOVERY BUT A MIRACLE REQUIRES EXTRA. ANOINTING, GIFTINGS, MINISTRY GIFT ETC.

WHAT YOU MIGHT NOT EVER GAIN BY A GIFT OF THE SPIRIT YOU CAN OBTAIN BY FAITH IN THE REDEMPTIVE WORK OF CHRIST.

THE WORD OF GOD HAS BEEN PROVEN TO HEAL, BUT IT MUST BE TAKEN ACCORDING TO DIRECTIONS.

THE WORD OF GOD IS A HEALING AGENT.

FOUR THINGS WE CAN DO TO SIPHON THE POWER OF GOD FROM HIS WORD THAT WILL BRING A HEALING AND A CURE TO ANYTHING.

1. FEED ON GOD’S WORD

THE WORD OF GOD CONTAINS WITHIN IT THE CAPACITY TO PRODUCE HEALING.

JESUS SAID, MY WORDS ARE SPIRIT AND LIFE (John 6:63)

THE WORD ACCOMPLISHES ITS PURPOSE TO PRODUCE (Isa 55:10-11)

THE WORD OF GOD IS LIVING AND ACTIVE (Heb 4:12).

(Jordan translation) – “The word of God is alive with energy.”

2. RECEIVE HEALING

MEDICINE IS NO REPSECTER OF PERSONS.

THE WAY EACH PERSON’S BODY RECIEVES IT AFFECTS ITS ABILITY TO HEAL.

WE RECEIVE HEALING BY TAKING THE MEDICINE THAT PRODUCES FAITH.

3. USE ACCORDING TO THE DIRECTIONS

NO MATTER HOW GOOD THE MEDICINE IS, IT MUST BE TAKEN ACCORDING TO THE DIRECTIONS OR IT WILL NOT WORK.

THE SAME IS TRUE WITH GOD’S MEDICINE, HIS WORD.

IT IS ONLY AS GOD’S WORD ABIDES IN YOUR HEART THAT IT PRODUCES HEALING IN YOUR BODY.

HIS WORD MUST PENETRATE YOUR SPIRIT THROUGH MEDITATION (ATTENDING, HEARING, LOOKING, AND PONDERING) TO PRODUCE HEALING IN YOUR BODY.

Mark 4 THE PARABLE OF THE SOWER

JESUS COMPARED THE WORD OF GOD TO SEEDS PLANTED IN THE GROUND OF YOUR HEART.

ONCE IT IS PLANTED, IT NEEDS WATER OR REPETITION SO IT WILL SPROUT, GROW, AND DEVELOP FRUIT.

4. GIVE GOD’S MEDICINE TIME TO WORK

KEEP TAKING IT AND GIVE IT TIME TO WORK.

INSTEAD OF PICTURING YOURSELF WEAK AND SICK. BEGIN PAINTING A PICTURE ON THE CANVAS OF YOUR HEART OF A HEALTHY BODY.

GOD’S MEDICINE WILL WORK POWERFULLY IF YOU GET IT INSIDE OF YOU.

PSALM 9:10 Those who know your name trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you. Psalm 139:17-18 nlt How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! 18 I can’t even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand! And when I wake up, you are still with me! GOD IS PURSUING YOU! Sexually confused, they abused and defiled one another, women with women, men with men—all lust, no love. And then they paid for it, oh, how they paid for it—emptied of God and love, godless and loveless wretches. 28-32 Since they didn’t bother to acknowledge God, God quit bothering them and let them run loose. And then all hell broke loose: rampant evil, grabbing and grasping, vicious backstabbing. They made life hell on earth with their envy, wanton killing, bickering, and cheating. Look at them: mean-spirited, venomous, fork-tongued God-bashers. Bullies, swaggerers, insufferable windbags! They keep inventing new ways of wrecking lives. They ditch their parents when they get in the way. Stupid, slimy, cruel, cold-blooded. And it’s not as if they don’t know better. They know perfectly well they’re spitting in God’s face. And they don’t care—worse, they hand out prizes to those who do the worst things best!

Jesus (The Truth) is the Door *Psalm 119:130 The entrance of your Word brings light *Magnifying truth takes you into God’s presence “If I can live in constant revelation of TRUTH then I can experience more and more full measures of God.” BELIEF SYSTEMS “The systems of truth that you meditate on have the ability to propel you into the stratosphere where all things are possible OR chain you completely to the prisons of impossibility.” Proverbs 23:7- As a man believes in his heart so he is.
