1. WRITE IT DOWN... COMMUNICATE IT... ARTICULATE IT...

HAVING A TRUE VISION IS OF LITTLE VALUE UNLESS IT CAN BE COMMUNICATED WITH CLARITY AND CONSISTENCY.

AMP Philemon 6 the participation in and sharing of your faith may produce and promote full recognition and appreciation and understanding and precise knowledge of every good [thing] that is ours in [our identification with] Christ Jesus [and unto His glory].

Heb 10:23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful;

MSG Let's keep a firm grip on the promises that keep us going. He always keeps his word.

Heb 10:23 THE WORD CONFESSION (PROFESSION)

THE Grk WORD “HOMOLOGIA” - THIS MEANS TO SAY THE SAME THING.

“HOMO” MEANS SAME KIND... “LOGIA” MEANS WORDS

KEEP SAYING THE SAME THING.

THE Grk WORD “LOGOS” HAS TO DO WITH A CONCEPT, OPINION, IDEA, AND EMOTION.

IF YOU CONFESS HIS WORDS YOU ARE AGREEING WITH HIS WAYS, HIS HEART, PURPOSE, CONCEPTS, OPINONS OR EMOTIONS.

THE WORD CONFESSION “HOMOLOGIA” NOT ONLY MEANS TO SAY IT LIKE GOD SAYS IT, BUT MORE SPECIFICALLY IT MEANS TO SEE IT LIKE GOD SEES IT, FEEL IT LIKE GOD FEELS IT, KNOW IT LIKE GOD KNOWS IT.

2. WE ARE GOING TO HAVE TO RUN...

Hab 2:2 Then the LORD answered me and said, “Record the vision And inscribe it on tablets, That the one who reads it may run.

RUN WITH PURPOSE AND AIM...

1 Cor 9:24 Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may win.

VISION IS THE CATALYST FOR ENDURANCE

Heb 12:1 Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross

Heb 10:35 Therefore, do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward. 36 For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God, you may receive what was promised.

2 Tim 2:3 Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.

WE HAVE TO LEARN TO ENDURE SOUND DOCTRINE (2 Tim 4:3).

YOU’RE BLESSED WHEN YOU ENDURE TEMPTATION (James 1:12).

Matt 10:22 You will be hated by all because of My name, but it is the one who has endured to the end who will be saved.

LOVE ENDURES ALL THINGS (1 Cor 13:7).

WE ARE TO BE VISIONARIES NOT AMBITIONARIES

VISIONARIES STAY PLIABLE.

Prov 16:3 Commit your works to the LORD And your plans will be established.

3. YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE TO PREPARE

THE STRONGER THE VISION THE MORE TIME MAY BE NECESSARY TO GROW YOURSELF, TO HARNESS THE VISION.

5. NEVER STAY SATISFIED WITH CURRENT ACCOMPLISHMENTS

6. BE A CONTINUAL LEARNER. IT TAKES TIME

7. DEVELOP A PLAN FOR GROWTH.

8. PAY THE PRICE.

JEREMIAH 29:11-14 11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you,” declares the Lord, JEREMIAH 29:13-14 msg “When you come looking for me, you’ll find me. “Yes, when you get serious about finding me and want it more than anything else, I’ll make sure you won’t be disappointed.” God’s Decree. PSALM 9:10 Those who know your name trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you. Psalm 139:17-18 nlt How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! 18 I can’t even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand! And when I wake up, you are still with me! GOD IS PURSUING YOU! By taking a long and thoughtful look at what God has created, Ignoring God Leads to a Downward Spiral ROMANS 1:18-23 But God’s angry displeasure erupts as acts of human mistrust and wrongdoing and lying accumulate, as people try to put a shroud over truth. But the basic reality of God is plain enough. Open your eyes and there it is! By taking a long and thoughtful look at what God has created, people have always been able to see what their eyes as such can’t see: eternal power, for instance, and the mystery of his divine being. So nobody has a good excuse. What happened was this: People knew God perfectly well, but when they didn’t treat him like God, refusing to worship him, they trivialized themselves into silliness and confusion so that there was neither sense nor direction left in their lives. They pretended to know it all, but were illiterate regarding life. They traded the glory of God who holds the whole world in his hands for cheap figurines you can buy at any roadside stand. 24-25 So God said, in effect, “If that’s what you want, that’s what you get.” It wasn’t long before they were living in a pigpen, smeared with filth, filthy inside and out. And all this because they traded the true God for a fake god, and worshiped the god they made instead of the God who made them—the God we bless, the God who blesses us. Oh, yes! 26-27 Worse followed. Refusing to know God, they soon didn’t know how to be human either—women didn’t know how to be women, men didn’t know how to be men. Sexually confused, they abused and defiled one another, women with women, men with men—all lust, no love. And then they paid for it, oh, how they paid for it—emptied of God and love, godless and loveless wretches. 28-32 Since they didn’t bother to acknowledge God, God quit bothering them and let them run loose. And then all hell broke loose: rampant evil, grabbing and grasping, vicious backstabbing. They made life hell on earth with their envy, wanton killing, bickering, and cheating. Look at them: mean-spirited, venomous, fork-tongued God-bashers. Bullies, swaggerers, insufferable windbags! They keep inventing new ways of wrecking lives. They ditch their parents when they get in the way. Stupid, slimy, cruel, cold-blooded. And it’s not as if they don’t know better. They know perfectly well they’re spitting in God’s face. And they don’t care—worse, they hand out prizes to those who do the worst things best!

OUR RE-BIRTH- THE NEW CREATION Born of the Water Born of the Spirit Brought of the Word John 3:5- except a man be born of water of the Spirit he can not enter the kingdom of God. TRUTH REDEEMS In order to corrupt God’s creation Satan had to attack truth. In order to Redeem humanity God had to send Jesus, The Truth to defeat Satan. Jesus (The Truth) is the Door *Psalm 119:130 The entrance of your Word brings light *Magnifying truth takes you into God’s presence “If I can live in constant revelation of TRUTH then I can experience more and more full measures of God.” BELIEF SYSTEMS “The systems of truth that you meditate on have the ability to propel you into the stratosphere where all things are possible OR chain you completely to the prisons of impossibility.” Proverbs 23:7- As a man believes in his heart so he is. MEDITATING ON TRUTH · Philippians 4:8 Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. · Ephesians 6:14 stand, therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth… · Psalm 119:11- I have hidden your Word (Truth) in my heart that I might not sin against you · Isaiah 26:3- You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. · Truth effects your every moment- Good themes….good meditations….Light · Psalm 119:107 I am afflicted very much; Revive me (quicken me), O LORD, according to Your word. · Psalm 51:6- Behold, you delight in truth in the inward being, and you teach me wisdom in the secret heart. Dwell in fullness- A belief system where you’re constantly delivered…where you’re constantly healed…always prosperous, always victorious- be renewed in the spirit of your mind! Activate!
