When we’re provoked, we meet fire with fire, retaliating with hateful words to preserve ourselves, but never taking a moment to realise the pain that these words leave in the long term.
It is so easy for us to be stirred up to intense feelings like hate when someone hurts us or does something that we don’t like or agree with but the love of GOD can transform our hearts as we choose change the way we react to each other in time of conflict.
Let us take a closer look at our own lives and let us treat the people around us with the kindness and mercy that they deserve and that we want for ourselves, as we work together to make our society more comfortable for all of us, today.

As Caribbean people, we tend to be naturally aggressive and this can adversely affect many of our relationships with each other through our less than respectful thoughts, words, and actions. May we allow our hearts to be changed by GOD’s Word and HIS unfailing love for all of us, and in so doing be enabled to make better use of our inner strengths as we transform our aggression into the powerful drive to uplift the society in which we live.
