From Denial to Discipleship: Breakfast on the Beach

Just days after Jesus’ death, the disciples returned to what was familiar to them – they went fishing! From the beach, Jesus provided a miracle – a boat overflowing with fish! It was then that they recognized Jesus and He cooked them breakfast! But what made this encounter extraordinary is that Jesus restored Peter from a denier to disciple.

From Confusion to Clarity: The Walk to Emmaus

Not long after his resurrection Jesus encountered two of his followers walking along the road from Jerusalem to a town called Emmaus. Although they didn’t recognize him – Jesus walked alongside of them and asked them why they were upset and confused. The conversation among them continued throughout the 7-mile journey! By the time they arrived, their confusion was replaced with clarity!

From Sorrow To Joy: Mary in the Garden

One of Jesus’ first post-resurrection encounters took place in the garden – just outside the empty tomb. It was with a woman who followed, supported, and loved Jesus, her name was Mary Magdalene. Mary’s life had already been transformed once by Jesus and it happened again, on the day of resurrection, her sorrow was transformed to joy.
