The bad habit of comparison causes harm and blinds us and hardens our hearts to the needs of others. Compassion has the power to set us free from the bad habit of comparison and can soften our hearts toward those who are hurting. But the healthy habit of compassion is a learned behavior that must be nurtured by us (with some help from the Holy Spirit). 

Celebration > Comparison

But the healthy habit of celebration is a learned behavior, it is a choice only we can make (with some help from the Holy Spirit).
