What if we pray?

Prayer is an ongoing, constant conversation with God. Sometimes we make prayer far more complicated or harder than it needs to be. Imagine how different our hearts, lives and church might be if we prayed? What if? What if we prayed constantly? What if we prayed about everything and anything? What if we prayed more together and individually?

What if we do something extraordinary?

God invites us to continue the ministry that Jesus began. A ministry of love. A ministry of hope. A ministry of forgiveness. A ministry of miracles. A ministry of community. A ministry of new life. What if we do something extraordinary with this invitation to love like Jesus? What if we put our love for God, our love for people AND our love for HMUMC into action by committing our time, gifts and financial resources?

What if we put God first?

Our lives are made up of a mixture of responsibilities, roles and relationships that often fight for our attention. It can be so easy to get our priorities turned around and upside down. Imagine how different our hearts, lives and church might be if we put God first? What if? What if we made time in our busy lives first put God first?

What if we put our trust in God?

God is trustworthy. It is one thing to believe this is true, but quite another to live as though it is so. Imagine how different our hearts, lives and church might be if we put our trust in God into practice. What if? What if we trusted God’s instructions? What if we trusted God’s promises? What if we trusted God in every arena of our lives?
