We GATHER in community

What if we were as loyal, passionate and devoted to HMUMC as we are to our football teams? What if we scheduled our lives around worship and other opportunities to GATHER with our church family – like we do for football games?

Away Games Required

This is true for us too! We love one another and our church home! But we are also required to GO to leave the comfort and safety of home, to share the love of God and the good news of Jesus with those outside our community.

It Takes a Team

The church also requires a team. Every team member is needed - every team member matters. To be the church God calls us to be, every team member must Get in the Game! To GIVE of their time, talent, skills and resources which results in spiritual growth and more team members!

The desired outcome of every follower of Jesus – is to GROW in our love for God and neighbor and to be changed by the power of the Holy Spirit to become more like Jesus. Just like touchdowns don’t happen by accident – we must Get in the Game to GROW.
