2. What does it mean that Jesus is a Christian’s advocate and atonement before the Father?

Questions 1. Is enjoying the gifts that God has given loving the world? When might enjoying the gift become love for the world? 2. Are there any areas in your life (desires of the flesh, desires of the eyes, & pride of life) that you’re struggling with? Can you give an example? 3. What must you believe in faith about loving the Lord and his love in Christ vs loving the world in order to overcome these temptations and sins? 4. 1. Name two things you’re thankful to be forgiven of for Christ’s name sake? 2. When we feel disheartened, why is it important to remember that we know the one (Jesus) who is the beginning and the end? 3. In what way have we overcome Satan through Christ? (We’ve overcome his accusations, and condemnation - for Christ is our advocate and atonement) 4. How might fear be put in its proper place no matter the circumstance when we embrace God as Father? 5. What does John remind us of in verse 14 about feeing weak, alone, and defeated? (We’re strong in Christ , accompanied by Christ, and victorious in Christ). Prayer
