In this Christmas Eve sermon, Pastor Chad Kettler explores the meaning of Jesus as the Son of God. He explains that Jesus has eternally existed as the divine Word, the agent of creation who is fully God yet distinct from the Father. The incredible miracle of Christmas is that this eternal Word added humanity to Himself, becoming flesh and dwelling among humankind out of God's great love and grace, despite people's sin and rebellion. When Jesus took on human form, He displayed God's glory and goodness, revealing that God is abundant in grace, mercy, and steadfast love toward sinners. By gazing upon Christ's glory in the manger and later on the cross, we can receive the gift of eternal life and fellowship with God if we believe and trust in Him alone.
