If you have a child who is asking about taking communion — or already participates but would benefit from some intentional time learning what it means — we’re offering a four-week Communicants Class beginning the week of February 22.

Together we’ll walk through what the Lord’s Supper is, why Jesus gave it to the church, and how we come to the table with faith and joy. We’ll also talk through the membership vows, since children who complete the process will be received as members of the church. The goal is to help them understand not just what we do on Sundays, but why it matters and how it helps us trust Jesus.

The class will meet from 11:45–12:30pm each week.

(This class is for children — but we will ask parents to help reinforce and discuss the concepts at home during the four weeks, and we’ll provide materials to help facilitate those conversations.)
