At the LA Dream Center, we will have the opportunity to be a part of many of the life-changing outreaches that take place daily. From playing with neglected kids in under-resourced neighborhoods to handing out food and other necessities to those experiencing homelessness, we will get to play a role in bringing hope and help to the broken of Los Angeles. Apply today and we will resource you to raise the funds, prepare spiritually through a small group, and have an amazing time as we serve Jesus and others. Accommodations/Meals: During your stay at the Dream Center, you will share a dormitory room with 6 to 18 people. None of the rooms have showers, but most have attached bathrooms. Community showers (one for men and one for women) are located on your floor. There is no Wi-Fi available on campus. • 24 hour security • Breakfast, lunch, and dinner included • Housekeeping • Linens and towels included • Common room (refrigerator and microwave available) What is Covered? Roundtrip airfare from DFW to LAX, all lodging and transportation costs, all meals, and a trip t-shirt. Please bring spending money to cover souvenirs, personal items, and additional snacks/meals/drinks you might like to purchase in the airport or during the trip. Fundraising Deadlines: $150 – 11/1/2021 $750 –12/27/2021 $1,125 – 1/24/2022 $1,500 – 2/14/2022 We will provide all fundraising supplies and an online fundraising platform for you as part of your trip cost. Please note that deadlines are not flexible. All payment amounts must be made by posted date to retain your place on the team. The trip cost is tax-deductible, but funds are non-transferable and non-refundable. Application Process: Once you fill out your application it will be reviewed within 24 hours. You will receive an email with detailed next steps. You and your parents or guardians will then be invited to a meeting with the missions department to go over consent forms and receive your fundraising supplies. Once that is complete, you can start fundraising immediately. Team training is a vital part of your mission trip experience and is required to be a part of the team. You will be given small group meeting dates at your initial appointment and will be required to attend at least 80% of the meetings. We have found that team members who prioritize meeting attendance are far more prepared and have a much more fulfilling mission trip. Applications are due November 1st.
