The Bible says in Isaiah 42:12, “Make God’s glory resound: Echo His praises from coast to coast.” Each of us carries a voice that has the ability to echo the hope of Jesus to our communities and across the world. Our hope has always been that Echo Conference would be a space for women to do just this. For years, we have witnessed women be encouraged and equipped to live out their God-given purpose and echo His praises from coast to coast. We believe this mission will continue to impact the lives of many women, especially as we continue to gather together. This year’s theme is “This Is Freedom”. In 2 Corinthians 3:17, it says, “Where the spirit of the Lord is there is freedom.” Freedom means many things to many people. We spend most of our lives looking and hoping to attain it. The Bible reminds us that true freedom exists only through Jesus Christ. He frees us to live without hindrance or restraint. He gives us the power needed to live out the unique calling placed on our lives. And he surrounds us with a community of believers to remind us of these truths––like the community you’ll find here at Echo.
