Everything we do is directly or indirectly a response to His character. He then invites us to worship Him and see Him as He is and in doing so we are able to receive eternal life through Jesus sacrifice at the Cross. We also see that false worship leads to self idolatry and eventually destruction. When we worship that which is not worthy we paving the way for our fear.
