Cooperating with a Miracle

April 11, 2021 • Ron Tucker

Miracles still happen...because God is alive and well, because the water-walking, storm-stilling Jesus conquered sin and death (there’s no greater miracle), and because Holy Spirit is here today in us to show us great and mighty things. Do you need some extra God-help? This weekend Ron will explore how we can cooperate with a miracle.

Signs of Jesus' Return

March 28, 2021 • Ron Tucker

Jesus had a lot to say about what would be happening in the days preceding His Second Coming, and this weekend we’re going to examine some of that in light of our present situation. Please join us for some plain talk on where we are and what’s to come. In Matthew 24 the Lord said we’re to know God’s plan for the end of the age, and we’re to get ready for it.

The Bible

March 21, 2021 • Wes Martin

Have you ever had questions about the truth of the Bible, how we should approach it and the answers it contains? This weekend our associate pastor, Wes Martin, will take us on a deep dive into the scriptures to explore these issues and affirm the validity and power of God’s word.

Judgment Free Zone

March 14, 2021 • Ron Tucker

It’s getting easier and easier to get offended by the wacky things people say and do. And when it feels personal, anger and resentment can spring up quickly and poison our relationships. A vivid story is told in the Old Testament that gives us an idea of what we’re up against. God pulls back the curtain on a scene in heaven to show us what’s at stake. This weekend Ron talks about how Christians can make their lives judgment-free zones.

What the Bible Says About Handling Loss

March 7, 2021 • Ron Tucker

Coping with loss is difficult, but in the era of Covid it’s even harder. This last year, our grief and sadness, depression and loneliness have been profound. Thankfully, the Bible has answers for suffering, and this weekend Ron will talk about how God helps us handle emotional pain.

Because You Care About People

February 28, 2021 • Ron Tucker

God cares how we raise our kids, how we spend our money, and how we treat others. Jesus cares about our being salt and light and sharing His gospel in our world. This weekend, Ron will be talking about how we can go about being genuine, God-pleasing Christians in these challenging, changing times.

Stand Firm & Cling to Jesus

February 21, 2021 • Wes Martin

Wes will point to the critical importance of standing firm, holding fast, and clinging to Jesus in this present age, full of brokenness. As Christians, we are standing in a moment of great opportunity. As we learn to put off offense, to walk in the ways of God, and honor those around us, we will have great impact for the Kingdom.

A Conversation About Prayer

January 3, 2021 • Ron Tucker, Wes Martin & Kaleb Krueger

Broken people living in a broken world, we need God now more than ever. We’ve got broken hearts and broken homes, strained relationships and children in trouble, unemployment, debt, addiction, hurting bodies. And it’s to us in 2021 America that Jesus says, “In Me you may have perfect peace. In the world you have distress and suffering, but be courageous. Be confident and filled with joy! For I have overcome the world.” The truth is God changes hearts and the destinies of nations through the prayers of broken people, so we will not lose heart, give up, and go silent. This year. This month. Together. We will pray our way into this New Year.

When Will Jesus Return?

December 27, 2020 • Wes Martin

We’re reminded every year of the Christmas story of baby Jesus when God incredibly came to the earth. He preached the good news of the kingdom and made a way for sinners to be forgiven. These are all foundational truths to Christianity. The return of Jesus is also a foundational truth. As His Church we must know of His return, like we know the Christmas story, and look for it with great expectation and faith. This message we will consider the Scriptures and seek to answer the question…when will Jesus return?

December 20, 2020 • Ron Tucker

Seven hundred years before the birth in Bethlehem, a prophet declared it would be. Here are those immortal words in Isaiah 9:6: “For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given, and the government will be on His shoulders. And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” This weekend Ron will talk about the great mystery of the incarnation and the infinite depth of God’s love for His most prized creation…people like you and me. It’s going to be a great time to celebrate the joy of Christmas!

God's Ingenious Plan

December 13, 2020 • Ron Tucker

This whole cosmos is not some random experiment God pulled out of His hat. We’re part of a complex plan that He formulated before time with Jesus as its centerpiece and culmination. As the firstborn of God’s new creation, Jesus reveals who we are and what our relationship with Him means for today. This weekend Ron lays out its revelation to the Apostle Paul in the book of Romans.

Heaven: Your Kingdom Come

December 6, 2020 • Ron Tucker

God’s plans for our future don’t look anything like floating on clouds with harps for a billion-trillion years. He’ll start by fixing us spirit, soul, and body...and then it all gets bigger and better! From government to technology, from education and the arts to the ways we work and play, God is going to partner with us to fix the planet. This weekend Ron takes us to the pages of Scripture to get a vision of our blessed hope, His Kingdom come. You’ll want to invite your one-ask-away friend for this one on campus or online!

Hell: A Hard Topic

November 29, 2020 • Wes Martin

Hell. It’s the topic no one wants to touch with a 10-foot pole. Yet, our discomfort with it does not change the truth that hell exists. As real as heaven is, so is the reality of hell. In fact, Jesus talks more about hell than any other person in the Bible does. He talks more about hell than He does heaven. What do we do with that? This weekend, Wes Martin teaches on the afterlife: What actually happens when we die? What will the judgement of Jesus look like as we stand before Him? Join us as we dive into this eternal truth that we will all, one day, come to face with.

If You Can Keep It

November 1, 2020 • Ron Tucker

America is uniquely defined, not by ethnicity or religion, but by a radical and unprecedented idea: liberty for all. The United States is the only country in history that purposely set out to create a government that was by, for, and of the people. It laid the foundation of a free society that could prosper in its freedom, and where the government governed by the consent of the people. When Benjamin Franklin was leaving the Constitutional Convention on its last day, a woman stopped him and asked, “Well, what have we got? A republic or a monarchy.” To which Franklin replied, “A republic, madam – if you can keep it.” This weekend, Ron looks at the clear and present danger to the future of our republic and ways we might still be able to keep it. Please plan to join us on campus or online for our last weekend before this all-important election!
