One fervent Jew, a single man bent on eradicating the early church, brings the direct and dramatic intervention of Jesus Himself. This weekend we start our study on the book of Romans with some background on that man. We’ll learn that the message he meant to stop will be spread throughout the Roman Empire over the next two decades by this very man. Invite a friend and join us for the exciting back story on the message that continues to transform men’s and women’s lives today…on-campus or online at gracestl.online.church!

The end of our Romans series covers more practical advice from Paul for our relationships. Addressing some of the same issues that divided the first century Christians, the apostle talks about judging others, enduring differences, understanding our liberty in Christ, and appreciating what’s good and right about less-than-perfect people. Invite some of your less-than-perfect friends who need an encounter with the good and perfect God!
#35 God & Government
December 18, 2022 • Ron Tucker
We’re still studying Romans, and God’s still got great plans for this planet! He sent His Son Jesus to save us from our sins, and He’s coming back to rule here. One of the great Christmas scriptures is from the Old Testament prophecy about the Savior in Isaiah 9:6,7: “For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end.”
