"Song of Moses"

Powdersville: Joey Altom

June 29, 2014

In Western culture today, it may seem strange for people to gather in a room every week in order to sing songs together. To Christians, worship services are a completely normal occurrence, but how often do we stop and think about why we worship corporately and more specifically—why we are singing the songs we sing?

This summer we want to further explore these ideas with you through the sermon series Songs And Why We Sing Them. In this series, we will study the rich theology behind nine of our corporate worship songs and highlight the intentionality of our corporate worship services. Our hope is that by examining and meditating on the Scripture resonated in each song, you will personally connect with its meaning and significance in your own life.
