It’s easy to come to prayer with a list of our desires, essentially saying, "Here’s what I want, God; now make it happen." It’s instinctual. We want God to step into our story, to bless our plans, and to handle our problems. But Jesus invites us into something bigger. Yes, prayer is for every circumstance, but He calls us to start with, "Your will be done." To join in what the Father is already doing. To care about the things on His heart. Imagine the impact we could make if God's people united in praying not just for what we want, but for the very things He calls us to pray for. What would happen if our prayers aligned with His heart, His mission, His kingdom?
