Luke 9:57�62 (NIV) � 57 As they were walking along the road, a man said to him, I will follow you wherever you go.� 58 Jesus replied, Foxes have dens and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head.� 59 He said to another man, Follow me.� But he replied, Lord, first let me go and bury my father.� 60 Jesus said to him, Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and proclaim the kingdom of God.� 61 Still another said, I will follow you, Lord; but first let me go back and say goodbye to my family.� 62 Jesus replied, No one who puts a hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God.� II Timothy 1:3 I thank God, whom I serve, as my forefathers did, with a clear conscience, as night and day I constantly remember you in my prayers.� I Timothy 1:18 Timothy my son, I give you this instruction in keeping with the prophecies once made about you, so that by following them you may fight the good fight, holding on to faith and a good conscience.� I Timothy 4:7 Have nothing to do with godless myths and old wives tales; rather, train yourself to be godly.� I Timothy 4:12 Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in love, in faith, and in purity. Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to preaching and to teaching. Do not neglect your gift which was given to you�� I Samuel 3:7 Samuel did not yet know the Lord, and he Word of the Lord had not yet been revealed to him.� Gal 6:9 Let us not grow weary in doing good , for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.�
