So we hit the ground running in this chapter and we see our second conflict of the book. During this time we see the prayer life of Hanna and it shows the raw struggle we all feel. We see Hanna recognize the power of God. She sees what He has done, can, and will do. While she seeks God the men in charge follow nothing but their flesh. This starts the fall of Eli's family and the rise of Samuel.

Saul Becomes King
March 8, 2020 • Matt Brown
Saul steps up by the Lord's might, and saves the people of Israel. Like Saul, we need to step up for others on a daily basis. Saul didn't take the glory of saving them, he pointed it all back to God. When God uses us, we need to make sure we don't seek after the glory, but give it all to God.
Replacement King
March 1, 2020 • Asher Day
Saul anointed King by Samuel while searching for his father's two lost donkeys, but Saul was afraid. Do not buy into the voice of inadequacy to the point of hiding in your baggage. God equipped Saul with what he needed to fulfill his purpose. God has equipped you what you need to fulfill your purpose. Walk in that!
