Jesus loves the city of Jerusalem. Nehemiah dedicated the wall to God with praise and worship. However, Nehemiah had to clean house from those who were corrupting it. In order to have the joy, you have to make sure your temple is clean. There will be a day of no more sin and darkness, and we will be made pure as we rejoice in the New Jerusalem with the light of the Lord shining upon us.

The Joy of Jesus!
March 20, 2024 • Bill Gehm • Proverbs 21:1–15
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him, he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. - Hebrews 12:1-2
