Nehemiah 8:1-12

For true revival, you need two things The Holy Spirit and The Word of God. The people of Nehemiah's day gathered together to hear the Law read to them. They heard until they understood, and then they rejoiced in it. We pray for revival in our generation!

Passion

The Israelites finished the wall, then they sought the Lord through scripture, rejoicing, and obedience for almost a month. Now what? They wanted to dig deeper. They fasted, repented, and went to the Word of God again. Then they prayed. Revival brings repentance.

It's not about the walls that Nehemiah and the Israelites built. It's not about our church building or the events we put on. It about you! God wants to be with you. If you choose to be with him you will have "very great gladness!"
