Worship

A family who worships together.

November 6, 2022

Worship is a lifestyle that permeates every aspect of our lives. Worship is seen in how we manage our money, how we run our business, how we parent our kids, how we respond to people and how we manage our dreams and ambitions. The heart of worship is a heart that enjoys God for who He is and all that He has done for us.

Church In Community

In the Book of Acts, Jesus' followers started identifying each other as brothers and sisters. After the Book of Acts, they no longer referred to each other as disciples. That is the language of family. God has called us to be family. We are part of His household. We are citizens of the Kingdom of heaven. That means we have the DNA, the essence, and the values of the Kingdom of God. When we gather as God's people, as family, it expresses something distinct, separate, and unique. We become a reflection of what family looks like in heaven. When we carry each other's burdens, love each other, and work through reconciliation, we look different from the world. We live from the ecosystem of heaven. That is what it means to be part of the household of God.

Giving

As a family, we grow together, we guard each others, we have each other's back, and we give. The Bible talks about how we as a family in a covenant community together that whether we think we have a little or we have a lot, that God supernaturally takes our resources when we give it back to our faith community. We resource each other, we provide for each other, and we have a massive impact in our community and globally.
