Jesus is the REIGNING KING who brings victory in the midst of the battle, our ETERNAL PRIEST who clothes us in holiness, and the one who gives us SHARED VICTORY that we can daily live in because of the overflow of His triumph! How wonderful it is for us to know that His victory over sin and death isn’t just His - it’s ours! We don’t fight for victory; we live from it. As co-heirs with Christ, we share in the spoils of his triumphs!

God's Infinite Power in My Finite World

When we understand our end, that this life is fleeting, we will have greater wisdom to live in the present. Our life on earth is short but eternity is promised for those who believe in Christ. What are some of the ways this wisdom can be lived out in our lives today? Perhaps this can look like increased urgency for evangelistic efforts, a changed perspective of our suffering, and an increased importance of peacemaking, knowing soon, there won’t always be a tomorrow. This way of living pushes us to please Christ and redeem every moment for His glory. Key verse: Psalm 90:12 “Teach us Lord to number our days, that we may get a heart of wisdom.”
