In Hebrews 12:25-29, the writer gives a final warning to his readers, encouraging them (and us) to listen to what God is saying and not to refuse his word. We are reminded that although we can choose whether or not to listen, we cannot choose the consequences. The writer also reassures believers that we are safe in Christ, encouraging us to give thanks and worship the Lord through lives of holiness and godliness.
