Having completed our tour of the end times as portrayed in Scripture, it is now incumbent upon us to ask the question: now what? Second Timothy 3:16 tells us that “all of Scripture” is not only divine in origin but is also “profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness.” In other words, everything in God’s word should have a practical impact on our lives. This is no less true of Bible prophecy than any other portion of Scripture.
The Millennium and the Eternal State
November 12, 2023 • Luke Bussey
Having returned as a conqueror, the Lord Jesus Christ comes into his rightful place as king and heir of all creation (Hebrews 1:2). In Psalm 2, David wrote of the Father’s decree to the Son that “the nations” would be “your heritage, and the ends of the earth your possession” (Ps 2:8). The Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, assumes his place on David’s throne and ushers history into the millennium where he will rule the nations “with a rod of iron” (Ps 2:9).
The Second Coming
November 5, 2023 • George Liepart
The culminating event of the Tribulation Period will be the return of the Lord Jesus Christ, long promised and anticipated by all who follow him. His second coming will mark the end of the present age and will usher in the next stage of God’s program for creation: the Millennial Kingdom.
The Tribulation (Daniel's 70th Week) - Part 3
October 29, 2023 • George Liepart
Having surveyed the major characters of the Tribulation Period and briefly discussing the events of the first half of this 7-year period, we now turn our attention to the latter half, known as the Great Tribulation. This is one of the most documented periods of time in Scripture, with more written about it than any other historical period save Jesus’ first advent.
The Tribulation (Daniel's 70th Week) - Part 2
October 22, 2023 • Luke Bussey • Daniel 9
What Daniel describes in one verse is the subject of Revelation 6-19, where the events of this period are given in much greater detail. These chapters, combined with numerous prophecies in the Old Testament and Jesus’ teaching on the end times, enable us to piece together a fairly clear picture of the end of history. What follows is a description first of the key actors of the Tribulation followed by a chronological description of the events of the Tribulation.

Israel & The Church
September 24, 2023 • George Liepart
Something that likely became clear from our discussion of the Biblical covenants last week is the special importance of the nation of Israel in God’s purposes for humanity. With the exception of the Noahic covenant, Israel and her progenitors are the focus of God’s covenants with man and His redemptive purposes for creation. Despite this clarity, one of the most common mistakes in the realm of eschatology is the confusion and conflation of Israel and the church in God’s program. Thus, a study of the distinction between the two is necessary in order to build a framework for understanding God’s plan for the end times.
The Biblical Covenants
September 17, 2023 • George Liepart
As we discussed last week, one of the critical issues in eschatology is how one views the Biblical covenants, their interrelationships, and the nature of their fulfillment. As we continue to develop our framework for understanding Biblical prophecy, we will now turn to a close study of the Biblical covenants.
Theological Systems

Before delving into the details of what the future holds, we must first spend some time developing the proper framework for interpreting prophecies in Scripture; we must view these passages through the right lens. Thus, we will begin by answering some big questions about eschatology and then move towards piecing together all the details.
The Importance of Prophecy and Its Interoperation
September 3, 2023 • George Liepart
Scripture is full of prophecy—revelation of events that will come to pass at some point in the future. While many prophecies came to pass in history or at the first coming of the Messiah, there remains a vast amount of prophetic material that has yet to find its fulfillment. As Christians, we live in light of these events that are still to come. This course will be an overview of these ‘last things’ as we survey the Scriptures and piece together what God has revealed about the future.
