- Read Philippians 1:12-14. Review ways that you see Paul caring about the condition of others. What lessons can you learn from Paul's interaction with the Praetorian Gaurd? Who are our "Praetorian Guard" (Gospel opportunities)?
- Read Philippians 1:15-18. What are the ways Paul identifies Christ as being preached? Give your own examples of what that could look like.
- What are some personal examples from past experiences of finding joy during difficulty?

Review Philippians 3:5 - Underline the various items in Paul's "confidence list." - What is the common thread in them all? Review Philippians 3:7-8 - Circle the words Paul uses to describe his confidence pre and post-Christ. - If you could put Paul's worth into two opposing categories (3:1-8) what would they be? - List Paul's "boasts" as you have reviewed in this chapter and place them into the two categories. Philippians 3:9-11 - Review our standing in light of our being Christ's. Place a box around the words/ phrases that best describe how we should view our faith in Christ.
