How often have you ever heard a child make an exclamation like "I want it now!" I (Cameron) know that as a child, my siblings and I used the words "I want" so often it would drive my father crazy. Our Heavenly Father isn't driven crazy by our cravings; He is more concerned with our wants and desires and how dark they quickly turn. There is something deeply disturbing about desiring what belongs to other people. In this, our final installment of The Ten Commandments and the Christian, we will look into the black hole of coveting and see (1) what makes it so insidious and (2) discover the path for escaping the darkness.

God has throughout time, consistently shown himself to be a faithful, honest, and trustworthy Father. It's not surprising he hopes the same to be true for us today. When faced with the opportunity, do you find it easy to resist the temptation to steal something from someone else? Have you ever had anything stolen from you? What is it that makes the commandment "Thou Shalt Not Steal" so prevalent in societies, even those never hearing the word?

God's best for husbands and wives does not include adultery but His warnings mean much more that some body parts coming together.
