We live in turbulent times, don’t we? We watch the news and it’s unsettling, to say the least. We always tend toward instability. How so? If we link our stability and emotional stability to the economy, we live on a roller coaster. If our stability depends on how many people like our most recent status update on social media, we’re set up for periodic bouts of depression. If I link my security to my health and longevity, I’m in for a shock, since I will inevitably decline and die. The landscape of life seems unstable in many different spheres. So where can we find stability. Find out in today's message on Ephesians 1:3-14

As someone has said, “You might as well be yourself, because everyone else is taken.” The question, “Who am I?” transcends an inventory of your accomplishments and what people think of you. There is someone whose personal opinion of you holds far more weight than your best friend or your worst enemy. It is more definitive than the affirmation of your spouse, or the eulogy that someone will someday deliver at your own funeral. Who are you are in God’s eyes?
