The conclusion to Joseph’s story reveals a truth we all need to understand in our lives- especially in our trials: God is good! Joseph has gained a perspective on the events of his life that shows the power and goodness of God and he is attempting to help his family learn that same lesson.
A Painful Past

What do you do when your past catches up to you? Joseph is once again brought face to face with his brothers and he tests them to see if they are still cruel, hate-filled men or if God has changed their character. Through a series of trials the brothers become aware that their past actions have present consequences. But through it all God is working to bring about reconciliation and to restore a broken family.
Prison University

Joseph finds himself once again in jail, however, God doesn't allow him to go through this trial to punish him, but to prepare him for a greater future. Joseph gets an education in Egyptian culture and politics- but he gets it from Prison University! Joseph is learning, as we must all learn, that this isn't about him- it's all about God.
Finding God in Dark Moments

Joseph is a man living between his dreams and reality. Even in the darkest moments of his life God is with him. It can be difficult to see God in our darkest moments, but He has promised to be with us always. In week two of the series we see how God is developing character in Joseph that will allow him to rule in the near future.
