The story of 1 & 2 Samuel shows us how every earthly king ultimately points us to God as the only King that any of us will ever need. However, as we read 1 Samuel 8, it’s clear that the disease of our sin blinds us from accepting Him as our King and we end up placing all of our hope in everything but Him. Thankfully, God has sent His Son, Jesus, to meet us in our sin with His salvation and satisfaction and to save us through a relationship by faith with Him! Jesus is our One True King and we invite you to celebrate this good news with us this series ahead!
