At various points in our lives, we can feel like we're stuck in a rut with repetitive behaviors, similar patterns, and a loss of excitement. Naturally, this can happen in our faith too. What is at stake faith-wise in a stagnant relationship with God? Do we truly plateau, or do we begin to drift apart from God if we're not actively seeking to grow in our faith?

There are many moments in our lives where we experience the joy of giving to someone or something - Christmas or birthday presents, humanitarian efforts, or thanking a friend with a gift card or picking up the lunch tab. Giving is important, because it reminds us of the importance of others, and that joy is meant to be shared, not kept to ourselves. What could we do for God’s kingdom if we all gave with joy?
