We hear about terrible things happening everyday around the world. Whatever it is – illness, death, natural disasters, or other forces that seem to strike without warning – the experience of tragedy is universal. Whether we suffer ourselves or see those we love in pain, eventually we all ask: “If God is good, why do bad things happen?”
