This Ain't No Joke
April 9, 2023 • Pastor Paul Vaughan • Luke 24:1–11, John 20:26–28
This week we celebrate the empty tomb! Our Lord and Savior, Jesus is RISEN! I believe that it is going to be a truly meaningful and impactful Sunday. I pray that each of you have invited friends and family to join us as we celebrate "Resurrection Sunday."
The title for the sermon this week is "This Ain't No Joke." There are many in the world who think that Jesus dying on the cross for our sin, and then rising from the grave is too far-fetched of a story to believe. They think it is a big old joke. Today we will learn that "This Ain't No Joke", or a prank, or a fable, or folklore, or fantasy or a fairytale. This is in fact the most remarkable event in the history of the world. that changed the whole entire world. I believe it will be a great message that teaches us that Jesus is alive. That He paid for our sins with His death on the cross. Rose three days later. And He desires to have a relationship with each of us.
Scripture: Luke 24:1-11, John 20:26-28

The Big Arrival
April 2, 2023 • Pastor Paul Vaughan • Matthew 20:17–19, Luke 19:28–41, Revelation 7:9–10
This week we will continue with our sermon series "Sacred Moments." In this week's message titled "The Big Arrival" we will look at the sacred moment of Jesus' triumphant entry into Jerusalem. Also known as Palm Sunday. And from this sacred moment we will learn that even though this event happened 2,000 plus years ago, it is still significant for us today. That on that day Jesus entered the city and people shouted with praise and that today we can and should worship and praise Jesus. I believe it will be a challenging and insightful message, A sacred moment as we take this journey towards Easter Sunday.
Scripture: Matthew 20:17-19, Luke 19:28-41, Revelation 7:9-10

The Upper Room
March 26, 2023 • Pastor Paul Vaughan • Matthew 20:17–19, John 13:1–17, Mark 10:45
In this series we will take a look at some sacred moments with Jesus as we take a journey towards Easter. This week's sermon is titled "The Upper Room." In this week's message we will look at the sacred moment the disciples had with Jesus in the upper room. In this sacred moment Jesus washes the disciples' feet. And from this sacred moment we will learn that even though we may be the most powerful person in the room, God calls us to set aside our power and serve others. Just as Jesus did when He washed His disciples feet. I believe it will be a challenging and insightful message that will help us to understand that Jesus calls us to serve others, regardless of our position or authority.
Scripture: Matthew 20:17-19, John 13:1-17, Mark 10:45
