Good evening, and welcome to this sacred gathering on Christmas Eve. Tonight, we come together as a family of faith to celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ, who is the Light of the World. This is a time to set aside the busyness of the season and reflect on the profound love and grace that came to us on that first Christmas night in Bethlehem.
As we light our candles tonight, we are reminded of the hope, peace, joy, and love that Jesus brought into the world. The soft glow of each flame symbolizes the light of Christ that shines in the darkness, a light no shadow can overcome. It is a light that invites us to draw closer to God and to one another.
This evening, through Scripture, prayer, and song, we will journey back to the stable where Christ was born. Together, we will experience the wonder of the shepherds, the reverence of Mary and Joseph, and the fulfillment of God’s promise to send His Son to redeem us.
Let us quiet our hearts, open our minds, and prepare to be filled with the beauty and reverence of this holy night. May this time together inspire us to carry the light of Christ with us into the world, sharing His love with all we meet.
Now, let us join our voices in worship and celebrate the miracle of Christmas.

Christmas is Worship
December 22, 2024 • Pastor Paul Vaughan • Luke 2:18–20, John 1:1–14, John 14:9, Psalm 34:8, Matthew 2:1–11
This week, we conclude our min sermon series, "Christmas Is___." When we think of worship, music often comes to mind. However, in this week's message, "Christmas Is...Worship," we'll explore how worship goes far beyond festive melodies. It's deeply rooted in the angelic proclamation at Jesus's birth, when the angels sang, "Glory to God in the Highest." (Luke 2:14).
Today Christmas is closely tied to music, yet astonishingly, only one of the top 20 Christmas songs truly reflects the reason for the season - Jesus! Let's make this holiday about more than presents and decoration. Join us as we rediscover the essence or true Worship and its profound connection to Christmas.
Scripture: Luke 2:18-20, John 1:1-5;14, John 14;9, Psalms 34:8, Matthew 2:1-2;10-11

Christmas is... Love
December 15, 2024 • Pasto Paul Vaughan • Romans 5:8, John 3:16–17, Ephesians 3:17–19, 1 John 4:18, Luke 1:26–30
This week, we will begin a new mini sermon series titled "Christmas Is___." Now, we all know that this season is often filled with all kinds of distractions, pressures, and a whirlwind of emotions. Many of us are stretched thin, trying to make this Christmas as perfect as it possibly can be. And in the process, it's easy to get caught up in what we think Christmas should be and miss its true meaning. This sermon series is designed to help us focus on what is most important as we prepare to celebrate the coming of Christ, the Messiah, the birth of Jesus at Christmas.
In this week's message, "Christmas Is...Love" we will explore the love God showed us all by sending Jesus. And it's definitely not like your typical Hallmark movie kind of love - it's so much more! Christmas is a demonstration of God's love for you and me. In this week's message we'll dive into how "perfect love drives out fear" (1 John 4:18). So get cozy, ditch the Hallmark drama, and join us as we unwrap the true meaning of Christmas in this heartfelt message about a love that goes far beyond the presents under the tree.
