In this message we will learn that we can have wisdom by building our life on the firm foundation of Jesus. And when we do it enables us to weather the storms in our lives.
I believe it will be a challenging message that will help us grow in our understanding of how to have a wisdom's perspective of God being our firm foundation. And to not be wise in our own eyes but instead to be wise in our Lord.
Scripture: Proverbs 4:7; Titus 2:12; Matthew 7:24-27; 1 Cor. 3:11; Psalms 19:7-11; Mark 4:39-41

Frontal Lobe
May 7, 2023 • Pastor Paul Vaughan • James 4:6, Proverbs 11:2, Proverbs 12:5, Proverbs 13:13–14, Proverbs 18:2
This week we will continue with our sermon series titled "FOOL." This week's message is titled "Frontal Lobe." In this message we will learn about 3 ways that the book of Proverbs actually encourages or challenges us to be individuals who pursue wisdom in our heart and in our life. 1) Speak Less And Listen More, 2) Embrace Correction And Implement It, 3) Stay Humble.
I believe it will be a challenging message that will help us grow in our understanding of how to not be wise in our own eyes but instead to be wise in our Lord.
Scripture: Proverbs 11:2, 12:5, 13:13-14, 18:2, 19:20; James 4:6

The 3 Categories
April 30, 2023 • Pastor Paul Vaughan • Proverbs 9:9–10, Proverbs 10:23, Proverbs 13:20, Proverbs 4:7, Proverbs 7:7
This week we will continue with our series titled "FOOL." This week's message is titled "The 3 Categories." In this message we will learn that Solomon tells us, in the book of Proverbs, that there are 3 different categories of people: 1) The Simple, 2) The Fool, 3) The wise.
Solomon goes on to tell us that each of us has a little bit of each of these categories of people in our Life. The goal for this message is to learn to develop more of the right kind of persons in our life. And less of the wrong kind of persons in our life. I believe it will be a challenging message that will help us grow in our understanding of these three categories of people and how to not be wise in our own eyes but instead to be wise in our Lord.
Scripture: Proverbs 4:7, 7:7, 9:9-10, 10:23, 13:20, 19:23, Psalms 19:23

Wise In Your Eyes
April 16, 2023 • Pastor Paul Vaughan • Proverbs 3:5–7, Proverbs 12:15, Isaiah 40:28
This week we start a new series titled "FOOL." In this sermon series we will look to God's word that provides us with guidance and direction on how to live our life. In other words His word prevents us from being Foolish or Fools.
This week's message is titled "Wise In Your Eyes." In this message we will learn to seek God for His wisdom and not our own. To be dependent on Him for all of our ways. In our relationships, finances, career, spiritual growth, just to mention a few areas. To not be wise in our own eyes but instead to be wise in our Lord.
Scripture: Proverbs 3:5-7; 12:15, Isaiah 40:28
