Join us, as we travel to the beautiful country of Ecuador to visit our GenHope location and build a brand new playground for our adopted community of children in this beautiful country. Our mission is to create environments where kids can encounter Jesus and incredible things are happening through our Hope Zone. We would love for you to come and join the impact taking place through our programs, FOOD, PLAY, AND STORY. We’re full of excitement with the opportunity to invite you to be part of this missions team! During this week, you will have the opportunity to be a part of bringing the love of Jesus to some amazing children through leading your very own Story Club for our adopted community. You will have a blast on this trip but you will also encounter Jesus like never before. Playgrounds communicate the value of the child and of childhood. They stand as a monument to the love that Jesus had for the children when it felt like everyone else was in conflict over their presence. Like Him, playgrounds inaudibly say, “Let the children come to me.” Included in Trip : Airfare from Florida to Ecuador, accommodations, transportation and meals while in country. This fee also covers luggage fees and pre-trip materials. Donations: Gifts to a specific person (or made to the church and flagged for a specific person) to attend the mission trip are considered a gift and are not tax deductible through the church. However, you can discuss this with your tax preparer to determine if there will be any tax benefits to you. Requirements: Failure to commit to these requirements means Journey Church has the right to ask you not to participate in the trip. Complete a full Missions application with background check, references, and potential interview. Attend all pre-trip preparation meetings Not included: Passport fees, any shots you elect to get, and any personal spending money for meals during travel and souvenirs. Any personal money you wish to spend purchasing items for your family. Keep in mind that the $150 deposit per person is non-refundable at the time of registration. If a cancellation is made after airline tickets have been purchased you will be responsible for the cost of the ticket.
