The Day of Pentecost was a festival of harvest celebrated in the old testament, but took on a new meaning when the Holy Spirit empowered the church to harvest souls and bring the good news of life and salvation to the world. The church has been empowered to be a witness, and we will walk through the beginning of the book of Acts and see what being a witness means for us today.
