Celebrate the Lamb who died for his Bride (the Church). Praise him for his daily work of purifying us and preparing us for that day. Surrender anew to his saving work in your life.

Day 39 - Pleading for Souls

October 9, 2023 • Acts 2:37–41

October 9th, 2023: Pleading for Souls Scripture: Acts 2:37-41 Prayer Focus: Plead with the Lord for souls in our community. Ask Jesus to convict them of their sin, show them salvation, and transform their lives. Write down 3-5 people in your life who you know to be unsaved. Pray specifically for them.

Day 38 - Confession & Commitment

October 8th, 2023: Wisdom in Building Scripture: Proverbs 24:27 Prayer Focus: As we potentially expand our campus, ask the Lord to reveal to you any areas that you need to put into order. Is there anything in your life that would hinder you from making the commitment that God wants you to make for his Kingdom?

Day 37 - Confession & Commitment

October 7, 2023 • Haggai 1:2–11

October 7th, 2023: Confession & Commitment Scripture: Haggai 1:2-11 Prayer Focus: How similar are we to the people of Haggai’s day? Have we spent so much time, energy, and money on our own houses and comforts that we are neglecting the mission which God has entrusted to us? Though painful, ask Christ to show you the ways this may be true in your life. Confess these misplaced priorities that are wasteful from an eternal perspective. Commit to serving and honoring Jesus with all your life from this day forward.

Day 36 - Thanksgiving & Celebration

October 6, 2023 • Psalm 78:1–4

October 6th, 2023: Thanksgiving & Celebration Scripture: Psalm 78:1-4 Prayer Focus: What are the glorious deeds of the LORD for which you can praise him today? What are the glorious things he has done so far for you and our church family during these 40 days of prayer? Write down these glorious works of Christ and thank him for these things.

Day 35 - Campus/Building Specific

October 5, 2023 • Deuteronomy 6

October 5th, 2023: Campus/Building Specific Scripture: Deuteronomy 6:1-25 Prayer Focus: As we think about future generations who will hear the Gospel and serve our community for Christ, ask Jesus to show you the sacrifices and commitments you should make now. Think about ways God may reorder your time, finances, and spiritual gifts to impact others now and in the future. Starting with your children, tell others about the blessings and salvation of God. Ask him to multiply our current surrender to reap a harvest in future generations.

Day 34 - Mission Partnership (Global)

October 4, 2023 • Acts 10:34–43

October 4th, 2023: Mission Partnership (Global) Scripture: Acts 10:34-43 Prayer Focus: Pray for our Olwazzi Ministries partnership in Kammengo, Uganda. Thank God for the lives who have been touched by his grace. Pray for Pastor Brian, the staff that oversees the church and school, and the kids who are being discipled daily. Ask Jesus to continue to provide the resources for continued ministry in this region.

Day 33 - Prayer Groups

October 3, 2023 • Nehemiah 1:4–11

October 3rd, 2023: Prayer Groups Scripture: Nehemiah 1:4-11 Prayer Focus: Ask the Lord to continually keep us in a spirit of prayer and dependence on him. Acknowledge our insufficiency without his blessing, forgiveness, and guidance. Pray that our weekly Wednesday evening prayer groups would be God-honoring. Commit to pray individually and corporately with your church family.

Day 32 - Work

October 2, 2023 • 1 Corinthians 10:31–33

October 2nd, 2023: Work Scripture: 1st Corinthians 10:31-33 Prayer Focus: Consider the work God has entrusted to you (job, at home, in the community, etc.). Thank God for the gift of work and recommit yourself to working with excellence. Ask Jesus to make your work ethic a means of honorable worship to him. Pray for others impacted by your lifestyle in the workplace.

Day 31 - Wisdom in Conflict

October 1, 2023 • Matthew 18:15–35

October 1st, 2023: Wisdom in Conflict Scripture: Matthew 18:15-35 Prayer Focus: In this fallen world, conflict and the need for reconciliation are inevitable. As you consider how Christ Jesus has dealt with you, ask for his wisdom to rightly navigate through conflict and difficult relationships in your life. Commit to seeking reconciliation as the priority.

Day 30 - Confession & Commitment

September 30, 2023 • Matthew 18:7–9

September 30th, 2023: Confession & Commitment Scripture: Matthew 18:7-9 Prayer Focus: In our social-media saturated society, honestly and humbly evaluate your addiction to your phone or TV. Ask the Lord to show you what it is doing to your mind, emotions, relationships, and soul. Confess any sin associated with these areas. Pray and put accountable boundaries in place to free you from these addictions.

Day 29 - Thanksgiving & Celebration

September 29, 2023 • Genesis 1

September 29th, 2023: Thanksgiving & Celebration Scripture: Genesis 1 Prayer Focus: As you walk outside or sit on your back porch, consider the glory and goodness of God in creation. Think about the vast number of stars or the brilliance of the sun. Look around at others who were created in God’s image. Look in the mirror and thank God for creating you in his image. Praise Jesus for coming to restore his wonderful creation that has been distorted by sin and death.

Day 28 - Campus/Building Specific

September 28, 2023 • Isaiah 6:1–7

September 28th, 2023: Campus/Building Specific Scripture: Isaiah 6:1-7 Prayer Focus: Mentally prayer walk through our current building. As you enter each area, pray for God’s Spirit to stir someone’s soul to repentance and eternal life. As we potentially embark on an expanded campus, plead with Christ to make these new areas of worship and discipleship full of his glory and salvation.

Day 27 - Mission Partnership (Local)

September 27, 2023 • Proverbs 24:11–12

September 27th, 2023: Mission Partnership (Local) Scripture: Proverbs 24:11-12 Prayer Focus: Pray for HARTT of Walker County as they seek to rescue kids, youth, and families. Ask God to give them increased measures of joy, endurance, and discernment as they counsel the hurting in our community. Pray for Tina Aaron who leads the effort at HARTT.

Day 26 - Church Unity

September 26, 2023 • Philippians 2:1–11

September 26th, 2023: Church Unity Scripture: Philippians 2:1-11 Prayer Focus: Consider Jesus’s self-giving. He emptied himself, took the form of a servant, and became obedient to death so that we could have life. Now, recommit yourself to building up the church by doing nothing from selfish ambition or conceit. Seek to care for others, even at a cost to yourself. What are three specific ways you can do this today?
