Elementary Camp from Wednesday, July 17 to Saturday, July 20 is for anyone who will be going into 3rd-5th grade for the 2024-25 school year.
This year at Maranatha, the theme is, "Jesus is Essential.” We will be digging deeper into Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. Jesus is the only way to the Father. Life cannot be found anywhere else. That is how we know that JESUS IS ESSENTIAL!
Maranatha Bible Camp is a short drive away, in Everton, MO. Leah will be driving a van down for anyone who wants to ride together. You are welcome to drive your own vehicle as well, and either follow the van, or meet us there. However, you get there, please register by July 7, so we know you are coming.
The cost is $210 per child if you register by June 20. After June 20, the cost is $235 per child. Registration costs include camp registration and a 2024 camp theme t-shirt for your child. If you are paying by cash or check, please have your money to Leah or put it in the generosity box in a CLEARLY MARKED envelope by July 7. If cost is an issue, please contact Leah. We have scholarships available.

We will meet at the church at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 17 and return at 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 20.
Leah, GCC's Children's Minister, is a dean for this camp. Lydia and Joe will be at the church when you arrive. Leah will see everyone when they get to camp!
When you arrive at church, Lydia will have Ziplock bags for everyone. One will be for money, Lydia is going to hold onto this to keep it safe. Other bags will be available for medications. Lydia will hold onto them in the van and make sure they get to the camp nurse when we arrive at camp.
What to Pack:
Bible & Pen or Mechanical Pencil(s)
Sleeping bag or twin bedding, pillow, & blanket. (Dorms are air-conditioned)
Toiletries, towels & washcloths for shower.
Modest swimwear (girls no bare midriffs), cover-up, sunscreen, & towel for swimming.
Clothing that can get dirty.
Plastic bag for dirty laundry.
Shoes with closed toes and backs for recreation. Flip flops expose campers to avoidable injuries to feet and toes.
Flashlight
Money for Missions & canteen.
Prescription medications in original container, with readable current doctor’s instructions.
Travel size hand sanitizer, bug spray and sun block.
Backpack to keep items in while moving around the camp.
What not to Pack:
Distractions such as cell phones, other electronics, etc.
Tobacco, drugs, alcohol, or other illegal sub-stances.
Immodest clothing
Guns (including airsoft/paintball) knives or fireworks
Silly string or other items for pranks.
